A Thoughtful Balance of Luxury and Value at Villa AnakaoDuring my recent stay at Villa Anakao, I found a commendable fusion of charm and convenience just outside Port Louis. The colonial-style property, enveloped by a garden of palms and flowers, offers a beautiful backdrop to unwind after a day exploring the city. Opting for a spacious room in the separate outhouse with stunning water views was a highlight. The terrace served as a lovely spot for evening drinks, while the well-maintained outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing escape. Breakfast was suitably portioned-eggs, bacon, and pancakes-and often enough to skip lunch. The three-course dinner, booked nightly, struck a balance between home-cooked comfort and reasonable pricing. With friendly staff and exceptional service from Yann and Ben, I felt well-supported in my travel needs. For those considering Villa Anakao, it embodies an appealing mix of luxury and value, especially with thoughtful amenities like free parking and available tours.
